Care of Creation
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.- Genesis 2:15
We as Lutherans have a theological mandate of stewardship — viewing the earth as a divine gift to be protected rather than exploited.
The Incarnation Creation Care Action Group works to love our neighbors by spearheading sustainability efforts, organizing environmental justice initiatives, and helping reduce the congregation’s carbon footprint.
We welcome the prayers and the support of all who would join with us in this work.
If you have questions or suggestions, or would like to get involved in any way, please contact Nancy Stutzman or Mike Vant.
