Feed My Starving Children and All Hands on Hope MobilePack™ Event

Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children. Donations fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved!

Incarnation Packing Opportunities at FMSC Coon Rapids Permanent Site

Join others of the Incarnation community at the FMSC permanent packing site in Coon Rapids to pack life-giving meals. Incarnation has worked with FMSC to reserve days and times for our community to pack together. Evening shifts on the 3rd Tuesday evening of each month (this is a change from previous months!) and daytime shifts on the 4th Wednesday of each month have been reserved for Incarnation groups. FMSC has adjusted processes and practices following the most up-to-date COVID-19 guidelines. Masks, though not required, are recommended for those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine or not. See FMSC’s current COVID-19 Safety Measures here.

To sign up for one of the shifts, choose your date and time below, click on the associated link and you will be directed to the FMSC web site, where you can enter your information.

Each shift can accommodate up to 12 packers, up to 6 at each of two funnels. Dividing packers between two funnels will be facilitated by Don Martin (daytime) or Claudia Wiebold (evening shifts) onsite the day of packing.

If you wish to pack only with people in your “bubble”, please email Don Martin for the daytime shifts or Claudia Wiebold for the evening shifts. They are happy to accommodate the number of packers in your shift to limit contacts with people outside your “bubble”.

Sign up for an evening shift on the 3rd Tuesday each month below; contact Claudia Wiebold for questions.

Our Ministry Partnership with Feed My Starving Children

In 2007, Incarnation hosted its first Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) MobilePack™. Since the first packing session, we knew this was going to become a meaningful tradition we wanted to make into an annual commitment to Feed My Starving Children. Six years later in 2013, FMSC became a formal ministry partner of Incarnation in 2013.

Over the years those of Incarnation and their friends have come together on a monthly basis to pack meals at FMSC’s local packing sites. Incarnation has also hosted almost 27,000 volunteers years over 12 annual All Hands on Hope” MobilePacks™ resulting in 7.5 million total meals being packed, feeding 20,564 children! And, hunger advocates within our community have traveled on five mission trips with FMSC to witness and serve meals packed to those most in need.

With God’s blessing, the congregation of Incarnation is living into its mission, Filled by God’s grace, we feed the hungry in heart, body, mind and spirit, through FMSC’s well-established meal-packing and distribution infrastructure for providing life-saving meals to people who need them all over the world.
