Winter Events

Preschool Open House

Thursday, January 11, 2018, 5 – 6:30 pm

The preschool classrooms and one section of large muscle play space will open and available for touring by prospective families who may not have had previous opportunity to visit the program at a time when classes are in session. The Director and teaching staff will be present to highlight elements of our curriculum format and to answer questions.

Mike The Baker/Storyteller

Friday, February 16 at 10:50 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. during the Mon/Wed/Fri AM and PM classes

Mike uses bakery tools to tell stories and sing songs about his days as a baker. He brings a big rolling pin, a 4-foot whisk, a giant muffin pan and a huge mixing bowl, and invites children to join the Bakery Bowl Band. It is a fast-paced blending of learning, socialization, and play.

WonderWeavers Storytellers 

Thursday, March 1 at 10:50 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. during the Tuesday/Thursday  AM and PM classes

Tina Rohde and Colleen Shaskin bring delightful stories with lots of fun and props. Stories will go along with current classroom themes!

For These Storyteller Events: Families with children enrolled in the alternate day class session are invited to drop in with their child to attend the  presentation that is not on their scheduled class day.

21st Annual Preschool Silent Auction and Carnival

Sunday, February 25, 2018 held in Grace Hall. Silent Auction from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & Carnival: 1 – 3:00 p.m.

This event provides a fun opportunity for interactions among the preschool families and friends and the Incarnation faith community while also supporting on-going program enhancements for the preschool, community outreach to benefit children and the preschool scholarship fund.
