Preschool/Kindergarten Exploring the Theme: Did You Know?

Did you know that the largest Easter egg in the world lives in Vegreville, Canada? Did you know that the most popular Easter candy in the world are Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs? There’s a ton of fun trivia around the theme of Easter but the best questions to ask kids are about Jesus. Did you know we can love Jesus more than anything? Did you know Jesus is king over everything? Did you know Jesus is alive? Did you know we can trust Jesus? Whatever their answer, this month we invite kids to go beyond the facts and win the grand prize of knowing Jesus for themselves!

Bringing the Theme to Life:

THIS WEEK, kids remember the time when Jesus appeared to the disciples.

THE BIG IDEA: Did you know we can trust Jesus?
THE BIBLE: John 20:19-31; Acts 4:19-20

ASK THIS: Because sometimes you and your kid need a conversation-starter that isn’t, “So . . . how was church?”

Bringing the Theme to Life:

This week, kids remember the time when Jesus came back to life.

THE BIG IDEA: Did you know Jesus is alive?
THE BIBLE: Luke 24:1-12; Romans 6:8-11

ASK THIS: Because sometimes you and your kid need a conversation-starter that isn’t, “So . . . how was church?”

  • What did the women expect to see at Jesus’ tomb?
  • Why did Jesus die for you?
