Prayer Services

Wednesday, June 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Incarnation

This worship service is a time to receive a blessing, light a prayer candle, pray and simply pause for a moment of rest. It is a time to hear messages of comfort, love and hope. It is a time to reflect on how God is present in the journey of caregiving. In the many pulls, needs and responsibilities of being a caregiver, this is a time for you to be strengthened and cared for by others.

Caregiving happens in many different roles. Whether you are a parent caring for a child or a child caring for a parent, come for a time of renewal. Whether you offer care as a family member, friend, professional or volunteer, come and be blessed in this role. You may want to be present to pray for others you know who are giving care to others. In all these ways, you are living out the love of Jesus for others with your heart, hands and feet. You are doing sacred, holy work.

This service is open to the entire community. Invite your friends, family members, neighbors and co-workers. For those who wish, there will be an opportunity to receive Holy Communion. We anticipate that the service will be approximately one hour. There is no cost and no registrations are needed.

This worship service is part of the Caring Community initiative of Incarnation’s strategic plan.
