Small Groups

Small groups are places to CONNECT – to grow closer to God, to connect with other people, and to share in a faith study or enjoy a common interest together.

What is it like to be in a small group?

Connect with new people. Enjoy an activity or interest you share in common. Grow deeper in your faith. Discover new ways to connect your faith with your life. Talk, laugh, discuss, serve, learn, pray, and share stories and insights. Experience a new sense of community. Small groups are designed to do all these things!

At the heart of small groups, is the chance to connect with and get to know others. Every small group gathers around a faith study or a common interest (crafts, biking, etc.). Groups also take time for devotions and prayer, led by the group leader. Once a year, small groups reach out to others in the community or the world by stepping into a service project together.

What can I expect in a small group?

  • To connect with 6 to 10 people
  • To have fun while doing something you enjoy
  • To be guided by a trained small group leader
  • To participate in making a covenant that serves as a blueprint for the group
  • To plan to attend–you won’t want to miss the fun and the group won’t want to miss your comments and ideas.

How can I preview or print the Connecting in Grace™ faith studies?
