Young Adults

Young Adult Ministry opportunities are designed for people who are in their 20/30s. Be sure to also check out all the opportunities open to adults of any age.

Brewed Theology: Coffee, Conversation and God

Brewed Theology is an opportunity for young adults to gather to talk about faith, life and the world. This gathering is open to anyone who is looking for a place to connect with other young adults and is interested in digging deeper into their faith.

2021 Gatherings

When/Where: 1/10, 2/21, 3/21, 4/18, 5/16 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Zoom

Brewed Theology is for Young Adults to connect with others who are around the same age and stage in life. We’ll gather over Zoom, once a month, on Sunday mornings between 10:30-11:30 a.m. We’ll use the podcast Finding Fred, about Mister Rogers, as a springboard for our conversations (find out more below). Bring your own brunch and a story to share! You are welcome to step in at any time.

For more information or to receive the Zoom link contact Eliza Hartley and Laura Hemstad at: brewedtheologyya@gmail.com

Finding Fred

“Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was not a simple show. And Fred Rogers was not a simple man. He was radical. Spiritual. Revolutionary. Maybe even subversive. Bestselling author and cultural critic Carvell Wallace hosts this 10-part series about the life, thinking and work of Fred Rogers, and asks what the cardigan wearing host of a decades-old children’s show can tell us about how to get by in today’s chaotic world.” – iHeartRadio
