Celebration Sunday: and God moved into the neighborhood…

September 11, 2022 (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

Mark September 11 of this year down on your calendar because we’re celebrating 60 years of life in community together and marking the start of a new school year!

What you can look forward to on September 11:

  • Worship at 9:00 & 10:30 a.m. will have a special blessing of the backpacks for students (bring your backpack)
  • Special 60th Anniversary of Incarnation liturgy
  • Food trucks (for purchase)
  • Bounce houses
  • 24′ climbing wall
  • Free Bibles for children & youth
  • Service project—birthday bags for Solid Ground
  • Yard games
  • Community art project for individuals and families

God has created us in community and called us to share that blessing with others, so everyone is welcome! Invite your friends, neighbors and family members to this fun event.

Community Art Project

As Incarnation celebrates our 60th anniversary this year, we are launching a special art project. Individuals and families are invited to help us create a series of cloth banners that will be on display in the congregation. To participate, you will be asked to decorate a single piece of cloth… you may choose to trace a handprint, draw an image of meaning to you, or simply write a few meaningful words, a Bible verse, or even just your name.

To join in this unique art ministry, join us on Celebration Sunday, September 11 between 9:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

As a church without walls, this art ministry opportunity is open to all. Whether you are part of the Incarnation community, are connected to one of Incarnation’s ministry partners or simply would like to join this celebration of faith though art, we welcome all to join. If you’re not able to attend Celebration Sunday, you may also pick up a banner in the office during September (as supplies last) to create your own or take to a friend or family member. Connect with Denise Floe to learn more at dfloe@incarnationmn.org.
