Incarnation Council

The Incarnation Congregation Council is and is comprised of a group of nine lay leaders who are elected on a rotating basis to three year terms. Criteria for being nominated to the council include regular participation in the worship life and ministries of Incarnation as well as a commitment to helping the community of Incarnation live out our stated Mission, Vision, and Values.

2019 Congregation Council Members

Kristi Jacobson

Kristi has been a member since 2009 and lives in Blaine with her two daughters, Gracie and Lilly. Kristi served on the Preschool Committee while the girls attended Incarnation Preschool. She enjoys greeting and serving Communion, teaching IGNITE classes, and serving as a Confirmation Prayer Partner. She has also been active with Incarnation’s Feed My Starving Children MobilePack™ events and traveled with the Incarnation delegations to Haiti in November 2015 and 2017. Term ends December 2019.

Sally Lawless

Vice President

Sally and her husband Fred, have been members of Incarnation since 2004. They have two daughters, Kate (18) and Ann (11). Sally has served in a variety of areas within Incarnation including Preschool Committee, SPARK Sunday, Worship Team, Confirmation Guide, IGNITE 5/6 Guide,  and most recently on the Long Range Planning and Strategic Planning Committees. She also has participated in several small groups over the years. Term ends December 2020.

Erin Rowles

Erin and her husband, Matt Rowles, are lifelong members of Incarnation and have a three year old daughter, Olivia, who is enjoying her first year in the SPARK program. Erin has been an active member of the All Hands on Hope Feed My Starving Children MobilePack™ action group since its inception in 2007. Her passion for the mission of Incarnation led Erin to visit Haiti in the fall of 2017. Term ends December 2021.

Gary Trettel

Gary and his wife, Pauline, became adult members at Incarnation when they were married at Incarnation in 1991. All three of their children have been raised in the Incarnation Community: Tucker (20), Tessa (18), and Tatum (14).  Gary has served on the Endowment Committee, the 2009 Capital Campaign, as an Usher, and participates in a couples small group. Term ends December 2018.

Bob Holt

Bob and his wife Debbie are new members of Incarnation having recently moved to Lino Lakes from Austin, MN. Bob and Debbie have two adult children, Travis and Andrea. Since attending Incarnation, Bob and Debbie have joined a small group, participated in the summer biking group, served communion, volunteered during the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack™ event, a Second Harvest Heartland packing event and the recent Ralph Reeder move to their new location. Bob and Debbie also enjoy singing in the choir. Term ends December 2021.

Don Martin

Don and his wife Martie have been members of Incarnation since 2001. They have 2 grown sons, Ross and Carl who live with their wives, Katie and Anna, in the Twin Cities area. They are also blessed with three grandchildren, Max, Mia and Eva. Don has been involved with various small groups, the building committee, the Hunger Education & Advocacy Group, the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack™ Action Group, and traveled to Haiti with the Incarnation delegations in 2014 and 2017. Don has also participated as a confirmation prayer partner, a route leader for the stewardship bags,  Incarnation Habitat for Humanity, Faith & Work, and small group ministry. Term ends December 2019.

Brenda Roloff

Brenda, her husband, Kevin and son, Drew (10) became members of Incarnation in 2013. They were first introduced to Incarnation through the Incarnation Preschool when their son Drew attended. Brenda has served as a Monday Morning Money Counter, Stewardship Route Leader, Synod Representative, IGNITE Leader, and has participated in various volunteer projects and small groups. Term ends December 2020.

Roger Schlichting

Roger and his wife, Mary, have been members of Incarnation since 1998. Mary has been active supporting confirmation and served as the LifeHaven coordinator for 12 years. They have three adult sons, Andrew, Justin and Peter who attended Sunday school and confirmation at Incarnation.

Roger has served as an usher, stewardship route leader, 2009 capital campaign leader and on the Finance Committee. He has volunteered for LifeHaven, Holy Hammers/Habitat for Humanity and Feed My Starving Children MobilePack™. Roger and Mary continue to participate in several small groups. Term ends December 2021.

Dan Zibell

Dan attended Incarnation through childhood and became an adult member in 2009. Dan serves on a worship team as an usher captain, helps with building Habitat for Humanity homes with Holy Hammers, and participates in Feed My Starving Children MobilePack Events. He’s also in a couple of small groups in addition to leading one. Dan traveled to Haiti in 2015 as part of the Incarnation delegation. Term ends December 2020.
