Worship

Gathering in Worship is central to our faith and life. Incarnation desires to reach out to people through corporate worship which invites participation and engages life today in powerful ways.

As you consider which service to attend, please note that typically you’ll hear the same sermon at all services, children are welcome and encouraged to participate in worship, and nursery is available for children ages 0 – 3 during all Sunday worship services.

Thanksgiving Worship (and pie)

Deuteronomy 8:7-18 | Luke 17:11-19 | 2 Corinthians 9:6-15
Wednesday, November 22 from 7:00 – 7:45 p.m.

As winter darkness crosses the land, the nation takes time to offer thanks for the harvest and the abundant resources of this land.  Even though this holiday witnesses many households gathering for a festive meal, Christians recognize that the source of all good things is the God who feeds the birds and clothes the grass of the field.  In worship, we offer thanksgiving for the bread of life and the cup of blessings.  As we share these gifts, we are knit together into a community whose mission is among the poor and those in need.  A time for fellowship and pie will follow worship, as will a community service opportunity for families.

Mid-Week Advent Worship

Wednesday, November 29, December 6 & 13 from 7 – 7:30 in the Sanctuary

This candlelight service uses the liturgy of Holden Evening Prayer and is a wonderful way to find some peace and calm in the midst of what can be a busy season.

Blue Christmas: A Prayer Service

Tuesday, December 5 from 7 – 7:30 in the Sanctuary

This candlelight prayer service is for anyone who has experienced a loss of any kind or who finds the weeks leading up to Christmas to be less than joyful. In this service we seek comfort and hope in our God whose light shines in the darkness and the darkness does not overcome it.
