Caring for our bodies is part of living as faithful stewards of what God has given us. The following opportunities are designed to help you connect with God and others as you tend to your physical well-being. All are welcome! You do not need to be a member of Incarnation to sign up or participate in any of these activities.

Ongoing Opportunities

Whisper Yoga

Learn how to become quiet in body and mind to hear God’s whisper and get stronger for your everyday life. Led by certified yoga instructor, Tina Zerrath. Wear comfortable clothes. Some mats will be available or bring your own. There are two class options:
Chair Yoga: An easy entry to yoga, you’ll use the support of a chair to improve balance and strength for your everyday life.Mondays, September 18-October 30, 11:15-12:15 p.m. Cost: $42 for 7 weeks. NEW! Thursdays, September 21-November 2, 1:00-2:00 p.m. Cost: $42 for 7 weeks. You may try a session at no cost prior to signing up. Sign up in the Incarnation Office.

Mat Yoga: 12:45 – 2:00 p.m. Bring a yoga mat to relax and have devotions.  Build your flexibility and strength regardless of your experience level. Sign up in the Incarnation Office. You may try a session at no cost prior to signing up. Mondays, September 18-October 30, 12:45-2:00 p.m. Cost: $49 for 7 weeks. Sign up in the Incarnation office.

Women’s Faith and Fitness

Fridays, ongoing. Devotions at 8:15 a.m. Class from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. in Incarnation Hall.

Newcomers are welcome to join in the fun with the ongoing women’s faith and fitness group. Improve your “functional strength,” balance and overall fitness while connecting with other women. Drop in any Friday to work with fitness instructor, Shannon Rainey. Cost: $20 for drop ins, $15/session for prorated session sign up. Try a class at no cost!

Men’s Faith and Fitness

Friday, September 8 – October 27.

Try a new offering for men of all ages and fitness levels to improve functional strength and balance. Fitness instructor Shannon Rainey uses the best practices for getting stronger through resistance equipment, stability balls and your body weight. Try out a session at no cost! Sign up in the Incarnation Office. Cost: $120 for eight sessions or $20 for drop ins. Devotions at 9:30 a.m. Class from 9:45 – 11:00 a.m. in Incarnation Hall.
